I am exhausted so this will be a quickie!
Past few days have been spent as a delicious couch potato! I've been watching the new season of Castle, the first season of Fringe, and the boxset of Firefly. I'm watching Serenity tomorrow <3. The Secret Diary of a Callgirl is on sale at JB Hi-Fi for $16 per season so I'm going to pick it up tomorrow and watch that too! Oh god, TV, how I love the feel of you melting my brain.
Today I went clothes shopping for Geekboy, since he's so very bad at it. I love that he's bad at it because it means I get to have x2 the fun! We went to JayJays in Broadway and I raided the Transformers t-shirts rack. I found a couple of Superman shirts and some sweet '3 for $15' shirts on the sale table. He now has a brand new wardrobe of yummy geeky clothes! Sweet 8).
At 6pm we picked up our Wicked tickets from Capitol Theatre. We bought the 'Dinner on Us' set so we got a free dinner at Curve restaurant! Geekboy ordered a stew and I ordered ravioli. As delicious as the food was, the serving sizes were shocking. I have seven pieces of small ravioli and Geekboy had a tiny pot of stew. We had to go eat a second dinner before the show afterwards.
Wicked was AMAZING! Theatre is glorious and exciting and theatrical. I absolutely adore it! The songs, the dancing, the lights, the set, it was all so overwhelming and beautiful! I definitely recommend it to anybody who hasn't seen it! Geekboy and I bought 'Ozmopolitans' which are really just slushies in a cool light-up cocktail cup. I'll post photos tomorrow, because I am extremely tired and have an early start tomorrow morning!
